Zarc Attack is the studio for games made by José Castanheira. José is the solo developer behind a multitude of game jam games (games made under a certain time under a theme) and is now adventuring into releasing his first commercial project, Exophobia, a retro FPS + metroidvania. He makes the art and programming on his games, which focus on small, fun and original experiences, set in colourful worlds with exciting characters. You can find his free games on itch.io and GameJolt in the following links: https://jccc.itch.io/ https://gamejolt.com/@jccc Some of his game jam games won prizes, the most recognizable being Kid VS School, which won a 2nd place in the IndiesVSPewdiepie game jam over 800 worldwide entries, which led to being played by Pewdiepie himself in his channel. Right now, José is working on a bigger game, Exophobia, which will be a commercial game available on Steam and other unnannounced platforms. His plans is to keep making commercial games with the same spirit as his first games, where there was fun in discovering original ideas and premises and then make them happen in a enjoyable experience.
